Repeater map & network
Explore available repeater information and discover infrastructure reported across Lincolnshire and surrounding regions.
Explore repeaters →LincsMesh is a community-focused information hub for exploring MeshCore across Lincolnshire and neighbouring areas. We bring together network resources, practical guides and monitoring projects to help people discover the technology, learn from one another and get involved.
One place to discover resources, understand the network and share what you've learned.
Explore available repeater information and discover infrastructure reported across Lincolnshire and surrounding regions.
Explore repeaters →Find practical guides, configuration advice and troubleshooting notes. You can also suggest topics that would help the wider community.
Browse guides →Discover participating community members and the companion-node information they have chosen to share.
Meet the network →Explore tools and observations that help make network activity and regional infrastructure easier to understand as projects develop.

Find your starting point →MeshCore is a communication system built around LoRa radio technology, designed to let compatible devices exchange messages without depending on conventional mobile coverage for every transmission.
A companion is the device you use to interact with MeshCore, typically through a compatible phone or computer application. It lets you compose, send and receive messages over the network.
Repeaters can receive and retransmit eligible messages, helping extend communication beyond the direct radio range between two devices. Their usefulness depends on placement, configuration and radio conditions.
Depending on the setup, additional services can support shared messaging spaces and other ways for people to interact across the network.
Range is affected by terrain, buildings, antenna height, interference, device settings and the available infrastructure. A map can help, but it cannot guarantee that a message will get through.
Is MeshCore a replacement for the internet or mobile phones?
Not necessarily. It is an alternative communication system with its own strengths and limitations. It does not offer unlimited range or guaranteed delivery and should not be relied on as a replacement for emergency communication services.
LincsMesh aims to make useful network information more visible and approachable, from individual repeaters to wider monitoring projects.
Use the repeater resources to explore the infrastructure currently listed and learn more about reported devices.
View repeater information →Projects such as CoreScope can help visualise observations and provide another perspective on network activity when a public instance is available.
Monitoring links can be added here when the LincsMesh instance is ready to share publicly.
Tools may share observations through configured feeds such as MQTT. What is visible depends on the service, its configuration and the data being shared.
A map or observation feed represents the data available to it, not necessarily every device in the area.
Lincolnshire's towns, villages and open countryside make it an interesting place to explore how radio communication behaves across different environments.
Useful information is more valuable when it is documented clearly, kept in one place and shared with people who need it.
Everyone starts somewhere. Sharing successes, mistakes and practical experience helps the next person get further, faster.
You can get involved at your own pace. These are useful first steps whether you have hardware already or are just researching.
Start with the Knowledge Base to understand the terminology, device roles and common configuration choices.
Read the guides →Look at the available repeater information and find out what infrastructure is listed in your wider area.
Explore repeaters →When you have a useful tip or a question that deserves a guide, help improve the shared knowledge.
